KAPS works alongside this process by offering personal guidance, education, and
support – helping South African pilgrims understand, navigate, and complete their
Nusuk registration with ease and confidence, In Sha Allah.
Nusuk service providers are Saudi-accredited companies responsible for delivering
your official Hajj package – including accommodation, transport, and meals – as
approved by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
KAPS, on the other hand, serves as your South African support partner – offering
education, guidance, and mentorship before and during your journey.
We help pilgrims understand the Nusuk process, prepare spiritually and practically,
and provide on-the-ground assistance throughout the sacred journey, In Sha Allah.

NUSUK Hajj
1. Registration & Profiles
Q: What are the steps to register on Nusuk Hajj?
A: Create a profile on Nusuk, upload your passport details and a recent photo,
complete your personal information, and confirm registration. KAPS will assist if
need be.
Q: Do I need a travel agent to register on Nusuk?
A: No. Registration is done directly by hujjaaj on the Nusuk platform. KAPS will provide info session and guidance to help you.
Q: Can we use the Nusuk app to register for Hajj?
A: No. The NUSUK APP is mainly for Saudi citizens or residence. International hujjaaj must register through the NUSUK HAJJ website ((https://hajj.nusuk.sa/).
KAPS will guide you step-by-step with the online process.
Q: What documents do I need for registration?
A: At minimum: a valid passport, a passport-style photo, and your basic personal details. More may be required once packages open.
Q: When do we upload passport and ID pictures?
A: During registration, you’ll be prompted to upload them. Ensure the images are clear, recent, and meet size requirements (JPG/PNG).
Q: Can we update our passport picture after uploading?
A: Yes. You can re-upload a clearer or updated picture, as long as it’s before package confirmation.
Q: How do I change my passport type?
A: Go to your profile settings, edit the passport section, and select the correct type.
2. Adding Family Members
Q: How do I add a family member?
A: Log in, go to “Family Members,” and enter their details. They must have valid documents, and you need their consent before linking.
Q: When adding a family member, does the family member need to register first?
A: Yes. You can add their details directly when linking. But they must have valid documents (passport and photo).
Q: Can we pay for all of us at once if we are linked?
A: Yes. Linked family members can be paid for in one transaction, if the main applicant confirms packages for everyone together.
3. Before Package Selection
Q: What do I type in for the flight number?
A: If flights are not yet booked, enter “TBA” (To Be Advised). You can update it later once confirmed.
Q: What if my Nusuk profile disappears or gets deleted?
A: Most profiles remain. If yours disappears, you can quickly re-register. KAPS will assist hujjaaj every step of the way, In Sha Allah.
Q: Do they determine who gets accredited by who registers first?
A: No. Accreditation is not based on early registration. Package selection, once it opens, will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q: Does registering on Nusuk guarantee me a place for Hajj?
A: No. Registration is only the first step. Your place is secured once you successfully select and confirm a package.
Q: When will the Hajj packages be released?
A: Packages will be available after the Ministry allocates service providers. An official announcement is expected soon, In Sha Allah.
Q: If packages are first-come, how can I prepare?
A: Ensure your profile is active, passport is valid, and payment method is ready. KAPS will guide hujjaaj when selection opens.
2. Health & Vaccination Requirements
Q: What vaccinations are required for Hajj 2026?
A: These are typically:
Meningococcal (ACWY) (mandatory)
Seasonal Influenza (flu shot) (strongly recommended)
Covid-19 Vaccine (recommended)
Always check the latest Saudi Ministry of Health updates or consult your doctor for any additional vaccine requirements closer to the Hajj season.
Q: When should I complete my vaccinations and medical check-ups?
A: It’s recommended to complete all required vaccinations and medical check-ups at least 6–8 weeks before your departure for Hajj 2026.
3. Digital E-Wallet
Q: When must the hajj funds be transferred to my digital e-wallet?
A: The Nusuk e-wallet is active for top up immediately after the packages are live for
viewing on Nusuk verified accounts
4. Support & Guidance
Q: Will KAPS leave hujjaaj on their own in this process?
A: Never. KAPS will always be available to guide, advise, and support every hujjaaj throughout the Nusuk journey.
